I discovered the joy of photography as a child, thanks to the encouragement of my father. The advent of digital opened up a whole new world for me (as it did for a great many others).

Today I love shooting life on the streets, at home and abroad, plus the activity in and around sporting activities. For the technically minded out there, I shoot with a Pentax K-3, an awesome crop-sensor DSLR. I still have my Pentax K-r, a wonderfully light and versatile DSLR. My favourite lenses are a 50mm f1.8 prime, 35mm f2.4 prime and 21mm f3.2 prime, 17-50mm f2.8 Sigma zoom, 10-20mm f4-5.6 Sigma zoom and 55-300mm f4.5-5.8 Pentax zoom For photo management and post-production I use Adobe Lightroom almost entirely with rare trips into Photoshop.

I also use Nik Software's Color Efex Pro, plus Silver Efex Pro for black and white conversions. During the day I’m a professional ghostwriter of books and blogs for business (www.clarityinwords.com).
